Web Assoc. Outstanding Web Site US Interactive's development of the Ad Council's electronic enterprise was awarded "Outstanding Internet Site" based on the award winning advertising banners that were created. The banners' combination of design, content and interactivity helped propel the work above the competition. The WebAwards Competition is run by the Web Marketing Association, Inc. (WMA) — an independent organization founded with the purpose of evaluating and recognizing standards of excellence on the World Wide Web. The competition format allows Internet sites to compete head-to-head with other e-businesses within their industry as well as against an overall standard of excellence.
