London Econ School 10 Best US Interactive received international recognition when The London School of Economics (LSE) named the Comcast Corporation Internet site as one of the ten best corporate e-business sites in the world. Ranked ninth out of 120 based on functionality and innovation, www.comcast.com puts the telecom company up with only three other US- based corporations — IBM Corporation, Wal-Mart Stores and The Walt Disney Company — to make the top 10 listing. The evaluation criteria for the LSE Study emphasized best practices in terms of both functionality and innovation. According to the study the Comcast Corporation Internet presence is "a well-designed and executed site that carries the full range of information about the company's financial performance, business background and recruitment... [W]here the site really scores is in providing solid consumer service."
